Lucy Farmer
'I think you're AMAZING' 2011, Acrylic, mirrors and mixed media on paper
Lucy Farmer is a visual and performance artist. She has a Master of Fine Art (Painting) from RMIT University (2008) and a Bachelor of Art: Performance Studies (Hons) from Victoria University (2006). Her work spans performance, painting, drawing, installation, video and music. Lucy will perform with Fiona Bryant in their new work Hiatus in the 2012 Next Wave Festival. Lucy is a current Australia Council ArtStart Grant recipient.
Solo exhibitions include: PRISONER (So what are You going to do about it?) at Melbourne City Library (2010), Review at Platform Gallery (2010) and You’re Portrait at Trocadero Art Space (2009). Group exhibitions include: Fail Harder at Kings ARI (2011), 3 Day.01 – Dear Patti Smith (2011) and Your Choice at Drawing show at Yarra Sculpture Gallery (2010). Performances include: Caught in the Act –Thread Den’s Spring Fashion Show (2010) and Now With Feeling! Pt III – directed by Danelle Lee at La Mama Theatre (2010).
