Recent Funding

Kings is pleased to announce our success in the recent round of Arts Victoria Programing Funding. This grant will allow us to continue to implement our policy of supporting artists and reducing costs. In the first half of 2010 Kings ARI will be able to subsidise exhibition fees for artists, support recent graduates, and initiate programs for emerging writers and artists.

We have also received funding from the City of Melbourne for A quarter turn on every screw, to be exhibited at Kings ARI in April. This exhibition revolves around finality and compulsion, and will feature the work of Brad Haylock, Yvette King, Sanja Pahoki, Sanné Mestrom, Kiron Robinson, Jackson Slattery and international artists Nedko Solakov and Lee Walton. The catalogue will include essays by Kel Glaister (curator) and Tamsin Green.
